Order of spending: the monthly allowance always goes first, and the top-up balance is only touched once it runs out — so the messages you paid for are never burned while free ones remain. 扣费顺序:永远先扣每月额度,只有它用完才开始扣加量包 —— 你花钱买的条数不会在还有免费额度时被白白消耗。
Why top-ups expire after 12 months. An AI message and a gigabyte of cloud are things we pay for every month. A pack sold with no end date is a promise we would still owe if the service ever wound down, and that is not a promise worth making. Our payment provider charges $0.40 plus about 6% on every single charge, no matter how small it is. Billing you once a year means paying that fee once; billing you monthly means paying it twelve times. 我们的支付服务商每笔都要收 $0.40 加约 6%,不管这笔多小。一年收一次,这笔费用就只付一次;按月收,就得付十二次。

That gap is the entire reason the monthly price is higher. It is not margin; it never reaches us. Checkout is handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record — cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Alipay and WeChat Pay, with local tax handled for you. 🧾 Refunds & cancellation. Access is delivered immediately, so a purchase means you agree to start right away and to this policy. If a plan is not for you, email support@ivy-drive.com within 14 days and, if it is barely used, we refund it less the payment provider's $1 refund fee. After 14 days or once a plan has been used, we do not refund time already paid for — but you can cancel any subscription at any time from the account page and it simply stops renewing; you keep what is left of the term. Monthly plans are cancel-only (their price is below the $1 refund fee).
